(1) The South West Community Drug Service Team (SWCDST), operated by St John of God Health Care, is funded by the State Government.
(2) The SWCDST provides services to adults, juveniles and families.
(3) The SWCDST is located and based in Bunbury with outreach provided to other towns in the South West. The SWCDST provides services to Bunbury, Busselton, MargaretRiver, Manjimup, Bridgetown, and Collie. Funding is for delivery of the total service (not site specific) and is $952,141 for 2012-13, plus sessional payments associated with providing treatment for people diverted from the police and courts. The Drug and Alcohol Office estimates this could amount to an additional $40,000, bringing the total to approximately $990,000 - $995,000.
(4) No funding has been allocated to provide additional rehabilitation and treatment inpatient facilities in the South West region.
(5) No funding has been allocated to provide an at home treatment and rehabilitation program in the South West region.
