I refer to my question without notice 147 of 31 March 2004 regarding break-ins at the Kingsway City Shopping Centre and the minister’s response that information had been sought to ascertain the status of the investigation of the nine burglaries reported between 3 February and 30 March 2004. The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has provided the following response - (1) The Police Service advises that no persons have been apprehended for these burglary offences. Two investigations have concluded and seven remain open. (2) The Police Service advises that there was one further incident on 25 April 2004 involving three burglaries.
