PERTH POLICE COMPLEX — FUNDING
I refer to the Premier’s media statement of 2 February 2009 and the Premier’s Statement made in this house on 10 March announcing the government’s intention to construct the new police complex in my electorate. (1) Is this commitment backed by funding for the project? (2) How is it that the Commissioner of Police can say in evidence to a parliamentary committee today that this project is not yet funded?
