APPROVALS — SUPREME COURT DECISION
216. Hon ROBIN CHAPPLE to the minister
representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to question without notice 23 asked on Tuesday, 16 February 2016
that I asked of the minister representing the Minister for Environment
regarding the Supreme Court decision that ruled environmental approvals for the
Roe 8 project were invalid.
(1) Notwithstanding the validity of the
current assessments, are any other projects approved or under assessment by the
same process currently being re-evaluated by proponents of the department for
compliance?
(2) If yes to (1), will the minister please table the list of projects?
(3) If no to (2), why not?

I thank the member for some notice of this question.
(1) No. However, the Office of the
Environmental Protection Authority monitors the compliance of approved projects
with their conditions in accordance with section 48 of the Environmental
Protection Act 1986.
(2)–(3) Not applicable.
