The Report on Consultants Engaged by Government for the six months ending 30 June 2022 contains a heading ‘Hydrogen Industry’ and includes payments of $729,360 to five entities (Merz, PWC, JDR, Thomas Halton and Johnson Infrastructure) by the Department of Jobs Tourism, Science and Innovation. On the assumption that the relevant responsibilities from this department transferred to the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification, can the Minister advise: (a) Did each of these entities complete the work for which they were engaged: (i) If so, when; and (ii) If not, why not ; (b) Was a report provided to Government by each entity in draft and or final form: (i) If so, when; (ii) Will you table the draft and or final report from each entity; and (iii) If not, why not; (c) What was the outcome of the work undertaken by each of these entities; (d) What consultation process was undertaken by each entity; (e) Who did they meet with, when and what was the outcome; (f) Did the work of one or more of these consultancies change Government priorities and or policy: (i) If so, how; and (ii) If not, why not; and (g) Has the work undertaken by these consultancies been shared with entities outside of the State Government: (i) If so who, when and for what purpose?
