(2) In each of the above cases, what were the charges for?
(3) Of those prison officers pursued on disciplinary charges, how many of the charges have been -

(2) For 2009/10, 13 prison officers faced a total of 24 charges:
· 5x Personal Behaviour, Unprofessional conduct
· 7x Conflict of interest, Improper Association/External Interest
· 3x Out of Hours Conduct, Criminal/Misconduct
· 2x Official Information, Access/Release
· 4x Neglect of Duty, Disobey Lawful Order/Failure to Report
· 3x Misuse of Resources, Inappropriate Use of Email
For 2010/11, 35 prison officers faced a total of 51 charges:
· 17x Personal behaviour, Unprofessional conduct
· 27x Neglect of Duty - Disobey Lawful Order, Removal of Keys, Unsecured Door
· 2x Physical Contact, Misuse of Force
· 3x Official Information, Access/Release
· 2x Out of Hours, Misconduct
For 2011 to date, 13 prison officers have faced a total of 26 charges:
· 4x Conflict of Interest, Failure to Report/Improper Association
· 13x Neglect of Duty, Compromise Security/Disobey Lawful Order/Removal of Keys
· 1x Official Information, Unauthorised Access
· 8x Personal Behaviour, Unprofessional Conduct
(3) (a) 2009/10 - 10 charges were sustained:
· 1x Conflict of Interest - Use Position for External Interest
· 3x Misuse of Resources - Inappropriate Use of Email
· 3x Neglect of Duty - Removal of Keys, Failure to Report and Disobey Lawful Order
