I refer the Minister to the Leighton Beach Redevelopment and ask -
(1) Given that five and a half years have passed since the final guidelines for the redevelopment of the Leighton Marshalling Yards were endorsed by the Coalition State Cabinet in
December 2000 -
(a) when will the Minister approve the ‘Leighton Oceanside Parklands’ master plan for the 13 hectares to the north of the development site;
(b) when will the Minister approve Metropolitan Region Scheme Amendment 1074/33, which rezones the Leighton Marshalling Yards to ‘Parks and Recreation’; and
(c) if the Minister will not approve these two documents in their current form, what are the Minister’s intentions for the site?
