Amendment No. 3 proposes to rezone King Location 599, Kununurra, from Rural Agriculture No. 1 to Rural Agriculture No. 2 and Rural Living zone. The Minister has deferred consideration of the amendment pending the progression of a Local Planning Strategy. Amendment No. 5 proposes to rezone Pt Lot 42 and 50 King Location Kununurra and Environs from Rural Agriculture No. 1 to Rural Industry. To date the Shire has not submitted the amendment documents to the Western Australian Planning Commission for final approval. Amendment No. 8 proposes to reclassify portion of King Location 514 from 'Special Foreshore Reserve' to 'Rural Agriculture No. 1' zone. The Minister has approved the amendment subject to modifications. To date the Shire has not submitted the modified amendment documents in a suitable format for the Minister's endorsement. Amendment No. 11 proposes to rezone Lot 1689 Hibiscus Drive, Kununurra from Parks and Recreation Reserve to Residential. The Shire initiated the amendment at its last Council meeting and the amendment has not been advertised as yet.
