Education:
(1) Has
protective behaviours training been provided for all students attending Country
High School Hostels Authority residential colleges in 2016?
(2) If no to (2), when will this
training be delivered?
(3) Which
particular preventive curriculum programs are currently being used to deliver
protective behaviours training to hostel students?
(4) Are private providers being used
to deliver these programs to hostel students?
(5) If yes to (4), which private
providers at which hostels?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Protective
behaviours training is delivered annually to all staff and students. Protective
behaviours training has been provided in 2016 for all students at residential
colleges in Albany, City Beach, Esperance, Geraldton, Merredin, St James in
Moora, Narrogin and Northam.
(2) Residents at
Broome Residential College will receive protective behaviours training on
Monday, 16 May 2016.
(3) The protective behaviours
program.
(4) Yes.
(5) Protective Behaviours WA is the
program provider at all of the residential colleges.
