SELF-ISOLATION
208. Hon PETER COLLIER to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the comments of the
Minister for Health on 6PR on Monday, 16 March, on self-isolation for
travellers returning to Western Australia.
(1) Will the minister confirm that all people
returning to Western Australia from overseas travel must self-isolate for
14 days?
(2) Will the minister confirm that a person or
persons who cohabit with a traveller are not required to self-isolate?
(3) Will returned
travellers be required to isolate from all other inhabitants within the premises;
and, if not, why not?
(4) Will the
minister confirm that should a returned traveller display any COVID-19
symptoms, they must immediately present for testing?
(5) If yes to (4), will all other
cohabitants be required to self-isolate and be tested; and, if not, why not?
