I refer to the
answer provided to my question without notice on 10 September 2025.
(1) Can the minister please confirm
whether the Aboriginal family-led decision-making pilot in Geraldton is
currently funded to continue beyond June 2026?
(2) If yes to
(1), when does the funding end?
(3) If no to (1), why not?
(4) Can the minister please confirm
whether any reporting on the pilot will be made available publicly?
(5) If yes to (4), when can we expect
that?

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. I provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Agriculture and Food representing the
Minister for Child Protection.
(1)–(3) This program is funded to 30 June 2026.
Future funding is currently under consideration.
(4)–(5) This pilot is ongoing and will be subject
to normal evaluation processes, which may include future opportunities to
report on outcomes.
