I refer to timeliness in the Family Court of Western Australia, and I ask: (a) given the increase of 5.6 per cent of applications for final order in 2013-14, will the State-funded temporary magistrate appointed to reduce median time to trial in the Family Court be made permanent; and (b) if no to (a): (i) why not; and (ii) when will the temporary appointment conclude?
