I refer to the ‘Report on Parliamentary Visit to the United States of America’ tabled in Parliament by Mark McGowan MLA. Under ‘Recommendations,’ the report states that ‘...a Task Force be put together including representatives of the ship repair, tourism and accommodation industries, as well as relevant departments, to smooth the way for the implementation of sea-swap by the USN. Such a Task Force would ensure that a mechanism was put in place for any problems that may arise to be resolved.’ -
(1) Has such a Task Force been created?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If yes to (1), what is the membership of this Task Force?
(4) If yes to (1), how were the members of the Task Force selected?
(5) If yes to (1), on what occasions has the Task Force met?
(6) If yes to (1), will the Premier table any minutes arising from meetings of the Task Force?
(7) If no to (6), why not?
(8) If yes to (1), will the Premier table the terms of reference for the Task Force?
(9) If no to (8), why not?
