OAKAJEE INDUSTRIAL PARK - PROVISION OF INFRASTRUCTURE
Following the Premier’s approval of a privately funded deepwater port at Oakajee, will the government commit funds for the provision of road, rail, water, power and gas to the industrial park at Oakajee? Hon ADELE FARINA

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. A whole-of-government approach has been established to provide an infrastructure framework to guide the potential development of the Oakajee industrial estate and address the integration of all the infrastructure issues. It will also focus on how the port and rail infrastructure would be linked with the Oakajee industrial estate, including the allocation of adequate product stockpile areas and the management of the estate and infrastructure requirements.
