91. Hon AMBER-JADE SANDERSON to the
Attorney General representing the Minister for Emergency Services:
I refer to recommendations of the
Bushfire Review Implementation Group in February 2013 that gazettal changes be
made to the metropolitan fire districts to include Byford and Banjup.
(1) Has this been
done in relation to either one of the areas or both areas; and, if not, why
not?
(2) If yes to
(1), on what date was each area gazetted?

honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) Incorporation
of selected areas of Byford into the gazetted fire district is continuing to be
progressed with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. Any possible
changes to selected areas of Banjup are still in the preliminary stages of
consideration.
