State Appropriations and used to deliver public education services.
Approximately 95% of the Department's total budget is spent directly by
schools or on behalf of schools. The remaining funds are spent by Central and
Regional Offices to support schools.
The remaining funds are spent
in accordance with State/Commonwealth funding agreements.
