Insofar as the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is concerned, the PTA has a contract with Redlion Bus and Coach to operate intra-town school bus services. This question has been answered in that context. The PTA does not have any school bus contracts in the name of Redlion Bus and Coach; rather they are in the name of Warren Burns who is a proprietor of Redlion Bus and Coach.
(a) Safety audits of Redlion Bus and Coach are undertaken by the Public Transport Authority's (PTA) Transperth Safety and Quality Coordinator however no audit was scheduled for December 2014. An operational visit was made by Transperth staff from the School Bus Services Unit at that time.
(b)-(e) Not applicable
(f) No.
(g) Not applicable
(h) Yes the PTA conducts regular audits as scheduled and makes it a priority.
(i) Not applicable
(j) The PTA's audit schedule is being met.
