The Western Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme My Way Trial September 2014 quarterly report at page 12 states that "23 individuals were identified as having a developmental delay as their primary disability", yet the Western Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme My Way Trial December 2014 quarterly report at page 16 states the number of individuals as 15, what is the reason for the drop in the number of individuals from 23 to 15?

Developmental delay is a general diagnostic category that is sometimes used for children before they reach six years of age. The reduction in the number of individuals with 'developmental delay' in quarter two is partly due to the refinement of data collected for existing individuals who have had their plan reviewed during the reporting period. A number of individuals previously identified as having 'developmental delay' are now more appropriately identified against other more specific primary disability types.
