Attorney General:
I refer to correspondence from former Attorney General
Christian Porter to the Director of Public Prosecutions sent after the passage
of the Criminal Code Amendment Bill 2008 through Parliament.
(1) Will the
Attorney General table any such correspondence in relation to sentencing
provisions associated with the ''assaulting a public officer''
provisions of the bill?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
