(1) Can the
Premier confirm that the report referenced also stated that WA had the highest
number of people living in improvised dwellings and tents or sleeping out at
the time of the 2021 census?
(2) Can the
Premier confirm that WA's rate of homelessness per 10 000 people is
0.37 per cent, compared with the national average, excluding the Northern
Territory, of 0.42 per cent?
(3) Where in the report in question is it stated that
the statistic referenced by the Premier was ''due to the WA government's
record $2.4 billion investment in housing and homelessness initiatives''?
(4) Noting the
number of WA families and individuals experiencing homelessness and the Premier's
boast of WA having a homelessness rate 0.05 per cent lower than the Australian
average, is the Premier a homelessness denier?

McGowan government's record total investment in social housing and
homelessness services increased to $2.6 billion
in last week's state budget, which included the establishment of a dedicated Office of Homelessness. As the Premier
stated, Western Australia has the lowest rate of people experiencing homelessness of any state or territory. For the convenience of the member, I seek
leave to incorporate this information into Hansard . It is encompassed in
a table and I seek leave to incorporate that bit of the answer into Hansard .
