979. Hon Michelle Boylan to the minister
representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to Operation
Sayer in Inglewood.
(1) Can the minister detail how many times police
have been called out to the complex since 1 December 2024?
(2) Of these, how many involved the use of police
helicopters?
(3) How many disruptive behaviour reports at the
complex resulted in breaches of the Residential
Tenancies Act 1987 ?
(4) How frequently is Operation Sayer being
reviewed and on what date was the most recent review conducted?
(5) Are these reviews being made in consultation
with residents and businesses impacted by this antisocial behaviour?

I thank the member
for some notice of the question. The following has been provided to me by the
Minister for Police. I know the question was originally asked yesterday, 22 October,
so it was correct at that time.
(1)–(2) An answer is unable to be provided
in the required timeframe. The honourable member may wish to place this part of
question on notice.
(3) This question should be directed to the
Minister for Housing and Works.
(4) Operation Sayer is monitored daily.
(5) The Western Australia Police Force has regular
contact with community representatives and listens to the issues and concerns
raised. Based on those concerns, police activities are adapted. The WA Police
Force continue to work with the Department of Housing and Works and the City of
Stirling to engage proactively with local businesses to address issues.
