I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)-(3) Dr Morgan was a member of the ministerial steering committee that advocated the procurement of the Kew Street site, and that the Museum materials be moved to that site. The advice requested is tabled. The report of the incident on 10 February 2003 is an analysis of air testing. This report can be tabled, but not within the time frame required for a parliamentary question without notice. (4) The significant asbestos problem at the Francis Street site has been known for years, and was ignored by the previous Government. The Department of Culture and the Arts and the Western Australian Museum had extensive consultation with the Department of Housing and Works, and Department of Housing and Works officers were involved in the ministerial steering committee. (5) Documents relating to the evaluation of potential sites have previously been tabled. [See paper No 2969.]
