To enable Ministers and their portfolio agencies to answer the question the member may wish to define what "... all IT technology and services" would encompass.
For instance, IT expenditure should include the capital cost of IT hardware, but owing to some agencies financial standards and policies it may not include most IT hardware under a certain notional figure. This might exclude desktop computing equipment including laptops, notebooks, smart phones, and tablet computers.
Expenditure on computing software, licenses, support and service costs including FTE salary and salary oncosts, accommodation rental, leasing costs, on-line and communication costs, and other annual recurrent costs would also need to be considered.
It is understood that some agencies may also receive resources free of charge or for a nominal cost that requires a specific financial treatment.
If the member has a specific area of IT hardware and services that he is seeking information on this should be directed to a relevant Minister or agency.
