(a) are media monitoring services provided, and if yes:
(i) which firm or firms currently provide a media monitoring service;
(b) what is the cost of the contract/s;
(c) since 1 June 2010 how much has been paid for media monitoring services;
(d) what is the duration of the contract/s; and
(e) when did the contract/s commence?

(a-e) Department of the Premier and Cabinet provides media monitoring services to Ministerial Offices through the Media Monitoring Unit of the Media Office.

(a-e) The Department provides media monitoring services to the Premier's office and Ministerial offices through the Media Monitoring Unit of the Media Office.

Salaries and Allowances Tribunal:

(a) Yes. Department of State Development uses media monitoring services provided through a Service level agreement with the Department of Mines and Petroleum.

(c) Department of State Development pays an annual amount of $20,000 to the Department of Mines and Petroleum for the media monitoring services provided.

Gold Corporation:

(a i) Gold Corporation contracts the supply of media monitoring services from Media Monitors Pty Ltd.
(b) The cost of the current contact averages at approximately $813.51 per month (calculated from monthly invoices received between 1 May and 1 November 2011).
(c) Between 1 May 2011 and 1 November 2011, Gold Corporation paid Media Monitors Pty Ltd a total of $4,881.06 for services rendered.
(d) Gold Corporation/Perth Mint contract with Media Monitors Pty Ltd is
rolled over annually or re-negotiated when fees are increased with the last Client Service Order signed in January 2010.
