Minister for Transport:
I refer to the answers to question
without notice 241 asked on 10 April 2018 regarding planning for new marine
infrastructure for Broome.
(1) Since 10 April 2018, how many
times has the Broome boat harbour advisory group met?
(2) What progress
has been made in developing a scope of inclusions for the planning of new
maritime infrastructure?
(3) What portion of the $1 million
allocated to this project has been spent?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) It has met twice—on 7 May
2018 and 6 August 2018.
(2) The
Department of Transport has provided a schedule of possible inclusions and
concepts to the Broome boat harbour advisory group, and received feedback.
(3) Approximately five per cent of
the project funds have been spent to date.
