I refer to the role of Adult Community Corrections in
suspending parole, and I ask: (a) how many parolees have
had their parole suspended in the current financial year; (b) have any parolees had
their parole suspended on more than one occasion; (c) how many parolees are
currently the subject of return to prison warrants; and (d) further to (c), on what
dates were those return to prison warrants issued?

(a) Between 1 July 2022 and 31 May 2023, 410 parolees had their parole suspended. (b) Between 1 July 2022 and 31 May 2023, of those 410 parolees, 26 had more than one parole suspension in the year. (c) Currently there are five parolees who are the subject of return to prison warrants. (d) Those five return to prison warrants were issued on; 10 May 2023, 19 May 2023, 22 May 2023, 26 May 2023, and 31 May 2023.
