(a) Yes. (i) One person attended as a representative of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. The cost was $3 654.70. (b) No. (i) Not applicable. (c) The single representative presented outcomes from a series of research initiatives designed to improve robustness of stock assessments for commercially important sharks (dusky, sandbar, gummy and whiskery sharks) in Western Australia.  The feedback obtained from presenting at international science conferences plus hearing the outcomes from other related presentations is important to ensure scientific methods used in Western Australia remain fit for purpose and at the forefront of current scientific approaches. (d) The presentation received favourable reviews from the expert audience and confirmed that the stock assessment methods being used in Western Australia can now be confidently used to generate more robust management outcomes.
