(1) No monitoring of firebreaks using aerial or satellite imagery is being undertaken by Landgate. However, Landgate is currently conducting research into the use of aerial and satellite imagery for detecting and monitoring firebreaks. This research was initiated in response to the findings outlined in the Keelty Report on Perth Hills Bushfire February 2011. This research is not yet complete.
