The following answer has been provided on the understanding that the Member is referring to the Midland Health Campus:
(1) In December 2009 $6 Million was released to fund the continued planning of the Midland Health Campus project. A Project Implementation Control Group has since been established, and it is commencing the process of detailed procurement planning, followed by finalisation of design and service planning. The Office of Strategic Projects has advised that construction could commence in mid-2012, with earliest completion in 2015. This information is revised regularly, as the project develops.
(2) Midland Health Campus Community Consultation workshops were held in 2007 and 2008. The workshops were intended to both inform the community about project progress and offer an opportunity for input into areas of facility planning. The 2009 Midland Health Campus Community consultation by the Swan Kalamunda Health Service (initially tentatively scheduled for 19 October 2009) has been deferred to March 2010 as it is hoped that additional information on project sign off, project scope (single versus two stage redevelopment) and procurement options may be available, without this information the community would be offered little or no new information.
Meetings with the Community and Aboriginal Reference groups formed following the initial Midland Health Campus community consultation workshop in 2007 will continue in 2010.
(3) Yes.
