I ask the member to provide the formal migration statistics on which this question is based, which will allow for an appropriate response.
I further note that a number of artists move in and out of WA over the course of their careers, and that whilst some leave on a permanent basis, there are many practising artists from other States and countries that have chosen to relocate to WA.  This adds to the artistic diversity of the State. Current research tends to focus on activity levels in WA, rather than tracking the destination of individual artists.
