(a) For reporting purposes, a ‘refuge unit’ refers to capacity in a family and domestic violence crisis accommodation facility that can accommodate a victim-survivor with or without accompanying children on any given night.
(b) Yes.
(c) The total increase is calculated based on the increase in the number of refuge units available on any given night. Additional capacity has been delivered through a combination of crisis accommodation expansions and establishment of new services.
