(d) the reason for the provision of the respective gift?
(a-d) The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is responsible for the selection, purchase and allocation of appropriate official gifts for presentation by the Premier and Ministers to dignitaries visiting Western Australia and during official overseas visits. Provision of the detailed information requested would require considerable research, diverting staff attention away from their normal duties and I am not prepared to allocate the State's resources to provide a response.
