WORKFORCE REFORM ACT 2014 — REGULATIONS
1328. Hon KATE DOUST to
the Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to page 26 of
the Public Sector Commission's 2013–14 annual report—'' Workforce Reform Act 2014 ''.
(1) Who is or will be
consulted in relation to the development of the regulations?
(2) When is it
expected that the regulations will be finalised and tabled?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. The Public Sector Commission
advises —
(1) The Public Sector Commission has been
consulting with chief executives and human resource practitioners of public
sector agencies and public sector unions.
(2) It is expected that the regulations will
be gazetted on or before 1 January 2014. That date cannot be right; it is
obviously a mistake.
Hon Kate Doust : No, I think that is right.
Hon PETER COLLIER: That is correct?
It says ''will be gazetted on or before 1 January 2014''. I will
check on it.
