Will the parliamentary secretary table a schedule setting out the particulars of any pastoral lease that has been identified by the Department of Conservation and Land Management as being required to be excluded from a pastoral lease for conservation purposes? Hon GRAHAM GIFFARD

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Department of Conservation and Land Management has recently provided a report to the Pastoral Lands Board about land that is proposed to be excised from pastoral leases. The board has not yet had the opportunity to consider these proposals. Therefore, it is not appropriate for it to release the information at this stage. After the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure has considered the final report it will be arranged for the member to receive a list detailing the pastoral leases that will be affected.
