I refer to the new Busselton Health Campus, and I ask -
(1) Regarding the appropriate setbacks from the coast to ensure adequate protection from coastal processes, has the Department for Transport been contacted by -
(a) Building Management and Works; and/or
(b) the Department of Health?
(2) If yes to (1), what advice has been provided by the Department for Transport to -
(a) Building Maintenance and Works; and/or
(b) the Department of Health?
(3) If yes to (1), do the setbacks include results of coastal erosion modelling undertaken by Damara Pty Ltd for -
(a) 0.4m;
(b) 0.9m; and
(c) 1.1m sea level rise scenarios?
(4) Will the Department for Transport be ensuring road access to the Busselton Hospital in the event of a one in 500 year flood event?
(5) If yes to (4), please provide details of how.
(6) If yes to (4), has the cost of providing road access in a one in 500 year flood been included in the existing budget of $117.9 million for the Busselton Health Campus?
(7) If no to (6), what is the estimated additional cost?
(8) Will alterations to roads adjacent to the new Busselton Health Campus be required to accommodate increased traffic?
(9) If yes to (8), is this included in the existing budget of $117.9 million budget?
(10) If no to (8), what is the estimated additional cost?
(11) Will the Shire of Busselton be required to contribute to the cost of any road alterations?

(4) No. The access roads are under the care and control of the Shire of Busselton. Typically, at waterways, highways and main roads are designed for a 50 to 100 year flood interval with minor roads as low as a 10 to 20 year flood interval.
