SCHOOLS —
MAINTENANCE OUTSTANDING
1174. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
Minister for Education:
What is the estimated value and what are the details of the
maintenance currently outstanding for: Mount Lawley Senior High School;
Coolbinia Primary School; Sutherland Dianella Primary School; and Yokine
Primary School?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
All schools are inspected as part of the building condition
assessment process every three years. As the building condition assessment is a
three-year cyclical process, it is not updated in the intervening three-year
period, during which maintenance is completed and/or new items arise. The next
building condition assessment will be undertaken in 2016. Mount Lawley Senior
High School identified maintenance needs of $18 560. Since July 2013, $857 960
has been spent on maintenance at the school. Coolbinia Primary School
identified maintenance needs of $92 345. Since July 2013, $266 800 has been
spent on maintenance at the school. Sutherland Dianella Primary School identified
maintenance needs of $45 263. Since July 2013, $144 500 has been spent on
maintenance at the school. Yokine Primary School identified maintenance needs
of $169 114. Since July 2013, $183 728 has been spent on maintenance at the
school. I think that is quite outstanding.
