YARRAGADEE AQUIFER, EXTRACTION OF GROUND WATER
I refer the minister to the public notice advertised by the Water Corporation in February this year announcing an application to the Water and Rivers Commission for a licence to extract an additional 25 gigalitres of ground water. (1) Has the licence been approved; and, if not, what does he intend to do about it? (2) If the licence has been approved, will the minister be making a public announcement; and, if not, why not?
