The Minister Replied:
Department of Transport
(1)(a) Office of Road Safety.
(2) The WA Police Services has an existing contract with Salmat to insert and distribute notices for speed and red light camera infringements. Transport's Office of Road Safety, in collaboration with the WA Police Service, has developed road safety educational material to insert with these infringements notices.
The contract with Salmat is to insert the Brochures with these infringement notices.
(3) 18 May 2000.
(4) $15 000.
(5) May 2001, or when the WA Police Services ends their contract with Salmat - whichever occurs first.
