In relation to all the agencies for which the Minister is responsible, for each financial year 2008–2009, 2009–2010, 2010–2011 and 2011–12 (to date):
(a) what was the annual expenditure on corporate hospitality; and
(b) if this corporate hospitality included the hiring of a corporate box (or a similar facility):
(i) what was the event;
(ii) what was the cost;
(iii) how many people attended as guests of the agency; and
(iv) of these guests, how many were agency officers?

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(a) The Public Sector Commission does not provide any standard definition of the term 'Corporate Hospitality'. As a result of the lack of a standard definition, the information cannot be appropriately and uniformly provided to reflect the Member's question. The Member has however identified a specific example and in the interests of an open and accountable Government - part (b) has been answered with respect to expenditure on 'Corporate Boxes'.
(b) (i) Catering for hospitality marquee at CHOGM 2011 closing concert at Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth.
(ii) $5,753.25
(iii) 50
(iv) 8
Lotterywest advises:
(a) The Public Sector Commission does not provide any standard definition of the term 'Corporate Hospitality'. As a result of the lack of a standard definition, the information cannot be appropriately and uniformly provided to reflect the Member's question. The Member has however identified a specific example and in the interests of an open and accountable Government - part (b) has been answered with respect to expenditure on 'Corporate Boxes'.
(b) The only hospitality offered that involved the hiring of a corporate box was at the Hopman Cup as a retailer reward program to recognise sales and customer service achievements:
i. Hopman Cup 2009
ii. $11,985
iii. 66 agency guests attended
iv. of these guests, 11 were agency officers
Department of State Development, Gold Corporation and Public Sector Commissioner advises that:
