Labor's election commitment for $22.5 million for more CCTV cameras and
high-tech hoon noise camera technology in high-priority areas.
(1) How many CCTV cameras have been purchased?
(2) How many of those CCTV cameras are for hoon
enforcement?
(3) How many high-tech hoon noise cameras have
been purchased?

by the Minister for Police.
(1)–(2) The Department of Local
Government, Industry Regulation and Safety is currently drafting and reviewing
the procurement process for the 2025 election commitment for CCTV cameras.
(3) Acoustic cameras are currently subject to a
request for information to market before a public procurement process is
launched by the WA Police Force.
