bank accounts on eight projects, two of which are completed.
(1) What is the total cost of administering a project bank account on a

(1) The total
cost of administering a project bank account on a construction project managed
by the Department of Finance's Building Management and Works will not
be known until the full trial has been completed.
(2) A range of
measures have been implemented to improve security of payment for
subcontractors working on Building Management and Works projects. The review of
project bank accounts is expected to canvass alternative options for
consideration on Building Management and Works projects.
