the parliamentary secretary to the Minister
for Transport:
I refer to the news
that the Wheatbelt Secondary Freight Network has been removed from the state
government's infrastructure priority list.
(1) Why was it removed?
(2) On what dates has the minister met
with representatives from the Wheatbelt Secondary Freight Network in the last 12
months?
(3) Are any meetings with the minister,
the minister's office or the minister with responsibility for the Wheatbelt
scheduled with WSFN representatives in the next four weeks?
(4) Is further funding for the Wheatbelt
Secondary Freight Network currently under consideration as part of this year's
budget process?

answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(4) The Wheatbelt Secondary Freight Network
is funded through to mid-2027, with $24.5 million allocated in 2026–27.
