in which he informed the house that, in
order to comply with section 110ZZE of the Guardianship and Administration
Amendment (Medical Research) Act 2020, the Department of Justice has
established a project reference group and commenced preparation of a review
plan.
(1) On what date was the project
reference group established?
(2) Who are the members of the
project reference group?
(3) Are any members of the group
also members of the evaluation and review steering committee?

9E of the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990 was established on 3 August
2021.
(2) The strategic
reform division of the Department of Justice, the Department of Health, the
Office of the Public Advocate and the Western Australian Office of Crime
Statistics and Research are represented on the project reference group.
(3) No.
(4) The evaluation
and review steering committee comprises representatives from the following
divisions within the Department of Justice: Corrective Services, Court and
Tribunal Services, Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime, Strategic
Reform and the Western Australian Office of Crime Statistics and Research.
(5) The Attorney General has not
received a briefing note updating the progress of this review project.
