(1) Will the Minister advise how many times the former Police Service Cessna 310 aircraft was used by the Western Australian Police Service in the course of carrying out their duties in each of the three calendar years immediately proceeding the tragic crash of this plane last year?
(2) Will the Minister provide the following details of each occasion on which this aircraft was used in the three calendar years immediately prior to this tragic crash last year -
(a) the date of each occasion;
(b) the number of Police Officers that travelled in the plane on each of those occasions; and
(c) the name of the Police Unit responsible for each of the officers that travelled on the plane on those occasions?
(3) Has the former Police Service Cessna 310 plane ever been used by the Tactical Response Group?
(4) If so, how many times?
(5) On what dates?
(6) Were any goods that may be categorised by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, or any other authorising authority, as dangerous goods, such as grenades, carried by the Tactical Response Group on those occasions?
(7) Did the aircraft hold the current approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) , or any other authorised authority, to carry dangerous goods, such as grenades, on those occasions?
(8) Are the aircraft currently owned and operated by the Police Department approved by CASA, or any other authorised body, to carry dangerous goods, such as grenades?
(9) If yes, when was that approval given?
(10) Which aircraft holds that approval and who is the authorising authority?
(11) If not, why not?
(12) Will the current aircraft owned and operated by the Western Australian Police Service ever be required to carry dangerous goods such as grenades?
(13) If yes, will the Minister provide details of those dangerous goods?

Given the resources that would be required to correlate this information, it is not practical or prudent to provide the "specifics" requested, however, I am prepared to provide a general overview in response to this question. a) and b) 1998/99 The only data available in relation to this question for this paticular year is that there were 153 flights which carried 375 passengers. 1999/00 July 8 flights 17 police passengers August 12 " 27 " " September 7 " 14 " " October 8 " 15 " " November 14 " 24 " " December 8 " 17 " " January 0 " 0 " " February 0 " 0 " " March 21 " 47 " " April 10 " 24 " " May 14 " 33 " " June 13 " 31 " " 2000/01 July 12 " 40 " " August 19 " 35 " " September 11 " 23 " " October 16 " 35 " " November 15 " 29 " " December 5 " 11 " " January 13 " 20 " " c) During this period, the aircraft was permanently stationed at Karratha and was deployed at the discretion of the Regional Commander Northern/North-Eastern Region or the Divisional Superintendents attached to this Region. 3.
