FACILITIES — ANNUAL SURVEY

TALBOT to the minister representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the minister's advice to this place on 3
May 2012 that the annual survey of all recycling facilities in Western
Australia would be completed by the Department of Environment and Conservation
in September 2012.
(1) Has the annual survey been
completed; and, if not, when will it be completed?
(2) Is the minister aware of the
results of the survey?
(3) Is the minister satisfied with
those results?
(4) Has the survey been made public; if so, where; and, if
not, why not?

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) No. The
Department of Environment and Conservation relies on data from two national
industry surveys to complete the data set, which are yet to be received.
(2) No.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) No. The
report will be available on the Waste Authority's website at
www.zerowaste.wa.gov.au once it is finalised.
