(1) Funds available to subside Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines:
2006-2007: $228,800.00
2007-2008: $237,956.00
(2) Patients assisted under the scheme:
2006-2007: 336 new patients and 118 exchanges.*
2007-2008: 373 new patients and 139 exchanges.*
* Exchanges of CPAP machines will include patients that have been assisted previously on the scheme.
(3) 709.
(4) Based on 2007/08 patient figures the estimated annual cost to supply masks to patients starting CPAP therapy would total $112,155.00.
