(1) Have any new tariffs, fees or charges been implemented?
(2) If yes to (1) -
(a) what is the name and purpose of the tariff, fee or charge;
(b) on what date did it come into effect;
(c) why was it implemented;
(d) what was the amount of the tariff, fee or charge when it was implemented; and
(e) what is the current amount of the tariff, fee or charge?

(1) Yes, the State Library has introduced three new fees
(2)(a) Oral History CDs (digital). This fee is for a copy of an oral history tape from the Library's collection on CD.
(b) 1 July 2010
(c) This replaced an existing charge for an oral history tape copy on cassette and was due to technological changes. It recovers the cost of the service provided
(d) $25.00

(2) (a) Direct Delivery of photocopies
(b) 1 July 2011
(c) As part of the national Interlibrary Resource Sharing (ILRS) code charges and to offset State Library costs.

(c) Reintroduction of a charge which is in accordance with individual public library agreements to provide some cost recovery. This charge aligns costs for regional libraries with charges for metropolitan delivery.
(d) Varies per local government and the level of service they receive, but it is 50% of the standard charge from the service provider.
(e) As above, 50% of the standard charge from the service provider.
