House representing the Premier:
(1) How many
staff have been appointed to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet since
the answer to question without notice 150 was provided?
(2) How many of
these staff are appointments to ministerial offices and what is the class/level
of each position appointed?
(3) How many
staff in ministerial offices are currently being remunerated at a higher class
or level than they were on 1 January 2016?
(4) How many
staff in the Department of Premier and Cabinet have been made redundant or
given termination payments since 1 March 2016?
(5) For each of
the staff in (4), please provide details of the amount of the termination
payment and the reason for termination?

(1) Six staff
have been appointed to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet since 26
February 2016. This includes two fixed-term contracts and four secondments.
(2) There are
three staff: a media officer, level 6; a liaison officer, level 4; and a receptionist/administrative
assistant, level 2.
(3) It is eight staff.
(4) It is two staff.
(5) It was $110 594.71
and $43 771.53. The employees received an end-of-contract payment due to a reconstitution
of the ministry.
