I refer to the announcement by the
state government of $4 million in funding towards an accessible fishing
platform as part of the Transforming Bunbury's Waterfront project.
(1) What proportion of the funding
will be allocated specifically for construction of the platform?
(2) Will the platform be

(1) There will be $4 million
allocated.
(2) Yes. The
design will integrate with the northern breakwater being delivered as part of
the Transforming Bunbury's Waterfront project.
(3) Extensive consultation has been undertaken with
Recfishwest, Fishability, the City of Bunbury's Co-Design Access
Panel, Southern Ports and the South West Development Commission in relation to
both the design and location of the fishing platform.
