I refer to recent actions by the State Government to remove or replace the word “women” in legislation, policy documents and official guidance, as well as to the State Government’s website description of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project, and I ask: (a) has the Department issued, adopted, or relied upon any policy, guideline, directive, or advice promoting gender-neutral language in place of the word “women” in maternity, obstetric, neonatal, or health-infrastructure contexts, and if so, has this been applied or considered in relation to the naming of the new hospital: (i) if yes to (a), will the Minister table that advice?
